Technically, Scarlett should be in Kindergarten at this point but we held her back a year and she repeated the 3's class twice. Combined with having a late birthday and being a late talker, the school and I both felt like that would be the best move for her. So she'll be going to Kindergarten in September 2020 which isn't that far away!
Scarlett started camp at her school when she was 18 months old and started the 2's program at 21 months old, so she really has been a student there for a good chunk of her life. Since she's been going there so long, she's become attached to the teachers and is close with them. Scarlett's school is fantastic and they are always learning and doing so many fun things. They come home with extremely creative artwork and the learning themes change each week. Scarlett is very enthusiastic about her class turtle that the kids are observing and learning about. It will be so strange and bittersweet when she has her preschool graduation in June. I'm so used to going to the school every week and having her attend there! I'm not ready for her to go to Kindergarten and wish she could stay at home with me forever!
I'm so excited to see what this year brings for Scarlett. I know she's going to learn and grow so much in her final year and I can't wait to hear all about it.
