I was very excited to have Rebecca create a peg doll set representing my family for Scarlett. I knew she'd love it and it would be something unique for her to play with and use in her doll house too.
The process is very simple for creation. I sent Rebecca several pictures of my family so she would have many examples to work from. She uses acrylic paint to hand create a peg doll likeness from the pictures you send in. She is very talented and I wish I had the skills and talent to do what she does.
Rebecca was very pleasant to deal with and eager to please. The peg dolls arrived very fast and were done fabulously. Two large dolls represented my husband and I, while the smaller one depicted Scarlett. Rebecca really captured our clothing well on the dolls and didn't miss any tiny details. The pattern on my shirt and on Scarlett's dress was noticeable and done well. Our hair color is very accurate and if you turn my doll around, I have long hair!
The peg dolls are solidly built and sturdy. You'll notice that acrylic paint is high quality and secure, you don't have to worry about it chipping or flaking off. I loved how bright and vivid the colors were too.
Scarlett really enjoys the peg dolls and knows which one is me, her, and her dad. She had fun putting them in her toy car and in her doll house. I hope my peg doll was driving to the store for some chocolate cake!
