I believe all dogs should be given an equal variety of toys.  Some furry with squeakers, some rope toys, some durable plastic ones, etc.  It's important for the dog to play with numerous different toys so they don't get bored and become destructive. Whatever toys your dog has, make sure they are in fun shapes (even if that's more for your enjoyment!)

WagsandWiggles ran by shop owner Shawna, offers handmade dog toys, organic catnip toys as well as leash bags and totes.  The dog toys are adorable and come in fun and unique shapes like pigs, eggplants, horses, pizza, dinosaur, etc.  The catnip toys will put your cat under the catnippy spell when they play with a cactus or carrot toy, among many others.  The toys are made with love, care and dedication so that your dog has the best playing experience as possible.

I was eager to work with Wags and Wiggles because I thought it would be very special and nice for Carolyn to have a handmade toy rather than one that was bought in a store.  Even though she doesn't know it was handmade, I do! I think it's really special that someone takes the time to hand make a toy for a dog to enjoy.

When I had the opportunity to review a toy for Carolyn girl, I was very keen on reviewing the adorable pizza toy.  Carolyn's foster mom says she wasn't a big lover of toys, but I didn't know if I believed that when I heard it.  I just thought they were giving her toys that bored her.  She craved excitement, just like her new mommy!

One slice of cheese please.  Don't forget to blot the grease, and include a squeaker too!

I'll be honest with you.  When I showed Carolyn her toys, she had no interest.  She sniffed all of them and walked away.  I thought to myself, "great, she really doesn't like toys!" Last night we had a breakthrough though! She started to play with one toy, and guess which one was it? THE PIZZA TOY!! She started chewing the "crust" of it! Maybe she just didn't want me to initially judge her for eating pizza, and she wanted it all along? Hey, every girl has to indulge!

I'm excited to report that this morning she's been playing with it and squeaking away happily.  It's true, pizza does make everyone happy!

The toy is absolutely adorable and made extremely well.  I love all of the small detail from the variation of material in the crust, sauce, cheese and even pepperoni! The toy is made from 100% cotton medium weight fabric and filled with polyfill and squeaker. The pepperoni is cut from wool felt and sewn into the toy before stuffing.  I can tell a lot of time and dedication went into creating this toy and all of the handiwork is excellent.

I am happy that Carolyn loves this toy! The great thing about it is that it can be made without a squeaker on request, if your dog prefers no squeaky toys!

One lucky dog will be indulging in a slice of pizza soon!
