    My deck needs a makeover to just give it a lift, a bit of a pick me up if you will. Our winters have been wet, wet and then summers are hot, hot & humid!

    Our deck hasn't been re-stained for a number of years. We will be having a wedding in the family this summer, so need to deck to look great with all the company coming.

    we deal with a lot of rain and it makes wood gray & slippery it also rots the wood quickly if you not use a good sealant like Thompson's Water Seal Chris Ann (treehouse.queen18) (at) (yahoo) (dot) (com)

    My deck is over 25 years old. It was here when I bought my house.. It is quite worn and I made the mistake of painting it and now it is wearing off and looks horrible.

    DH repainted it a couple of years ago, and it was a dark color - now it's peeling and faded and looks icky. Now I know why the previous owners had it a lighter color!

    Until this past year, our deck was overshadowed by 2 large pine trees. The sap and needles took their toll. The trees are gone and now the deck is more visible so it needs a makeover bad!

    Because we just added on a handicap ramp a few months ago for my mom and didn't have the money to seal it after buying the lumber. It's completely untreated wood and it worries me.

    we have a lot of shade and over hanging trees so green mold & sap gets all over it. It is real hard to clean, this would be a lifesaver because it gets so slippery especially when it rains this would help out sooooo much!
