Quickie Household Power Scrubber Review

As I've gotten older, I have less and less tolerance for mess and dirt.  I keep every room in my house clean obviously, but the room I care about most is my kitchen.  For some reason I must have the kitchen spotless at all times.  I've been known to clean my counter tops multiple times a day.  Cleaning is a tiring job and I welcome any new products or tools to help make my house spic and span.

Quickie is a brand of cleaning products that is there to assist you in helping to keep your home as clean as possible.  They produce sponges, mops, dusting clothes and much more.  I've familiar with the brand but have never had the opportunity to use their products, until now!

When I was presented with the chance to try out the new Quickie Household Power Scrubber, how could I say no? Something that would make my cleaning duties easier sounds like a lifesaver to me.

Pretty soon after making a deal with the cleaning gods, a large box showed up at my door.  What was inside you ask? Well, let me show you!

I was sent a Quickie Household Power Scrubber, multi-purpose scrubber refill pads, and a fun pair of cleaning gloves.  I did a little research on the power scrubber and dreamed of all of the things I could clean first.  My shower? How about the kitchen sink? I think my bathroom sink could use a good scrub too!  I decided on the kitchen sink, especially since I just rinsed off dirty dishes to load into the dishwasher.

 

I took the scrubber out of the package and checked out the attachments that came with it.  You can use the disposable scrubber pad for cleaning shower walls or a stove top.  The spinning scrub brush is perfect for a shower floor or sink.  You simply put the batteries into the tool, spray or pour some cleaning solution into the surface you desire and get to cleanin'!

 

I knew that I needed the brush rather than the pad because I wanted a deep scrub in my sink. The tool is not heavy at all to hold, and has a drill like handle. 

 

The Quickie tool saw this and started spinning in excitement.  He couldn't wait to begin the task! This was my sink after rinsing off dirty dishes to put into the dishwasher.  Normally when I do a job like this, I need a deep scrubby pad and SoftScrub to get off anything that is stuck to the sink.  I was ready for the Quickie challenge!

Ahhh, Quickie and SoftScrub meet! It is certainly a match made in heaven.  The tool was very easy to use and control.  It was not overly loud either.  I was able to easily scrub off all of the food particles and dirt from my sink, which made me happy.  An added bonus is that using this scrubber made cleaning my sink a little more fun.  Within about two minutes my sink was free from dirt and was looking fantastic.  The spinning bristles really did a number on it. The dirt was easily rinsed down the sink.  I was impressed with the results that I achieved and I was able to give my hand and arm a break from scrubbing by hand!

 

 

Look how clean my sink is! This tool did a fantastic job. It's shiny and free of gross food particles and dirt.  Please be jealous.

 

I am truly looking forward to using the power scrubber on my shower walls and floor,  I know it will do a better job than I can do by hand while using a manual scrub brush.
