Ripley's Believe It Or Not has been a favorite show of mine for many years. I love the wacky, unique, and just plain crazy stunts and talents that these individuals possess. The show always brings entertainment to my living room. If you're looking for a new and interesting summer read, I have the perfect choice for you.
Ripley Publishing brings its brand of bizarre, unbelievable and wild (but all true) stories to adults with the launch of the new book Unbelievable Stories for Guys.
The book is a collection of stories, trivia and lists that are decidedly dude-centric. The book is now available in both hardcover and ebook versions and makes a perfect Father's Day gift.
This isn't your child's Ripley's Believe It or Not! book - but it is filled with the same type of quirky, fascinating, fun stories that Ripley's fans remember from their childhood. These "grown-up" stories stand on their own, without the signature photographs that many Ripley's fans are used to seeing.
What will fellas find fascinating in the book? How about:
•The Russian who put his head in a particle accelerator and survived
•The corpse farm in Tennessee
•The billion mile golf drive
•When Niagara Falls ran dry
•Living on beer for Lent
•Dotcom disasters
•Daring prison breaks
Guys will not only notice that this is a different kind of Ripley's book on the inside, but also on outside. The cover comes in most men's favorite color - black - and the book is smaller than your average hardback book.
If you're looking for something that is different from what you're used to, I highly recommend Unbelievable Stories For Guys. The stories will shock you, make you laugh or cringe, and keep you hooked!

On one episode of Ripley's Believe It Or Not they showed a "Fiji mermaid skeleton" created by PT Barnum for a sideshow. Although it was debunked I swear that thing looked very real to me and still does!!
