Cooking is a big passion of mine. I cook 4 to 5 times a week and I always love using new cookware and kitchen gadgets to experiment with. I was sent a beautiful 9" Xtrema Flair non-stick skillet.


9" Non-Stick Flair Skillet- Their new flair skillets have a ceramic non-scratch, gloss black finish outside and a 100% non-stick PFOA free inside coating. The skillets have a unique shape which makes it very convenient to easy slide your food onto your plate.

This skillet is truly awesome. I used it this morning to make an omelet for breakfast. First of all, I love that the pan comes with a silicone cover so you don't burn yourself. I've had my fair share of holding pot handles and thinking that wouldn't be that hot and I was very wrong! It's nice that a company takes a consumer's comfort and safety into account. The handle was comfortable to hold and was not heavy at all.

With my other pans if I turn the heat up too high my food will burn and the bottom of the pan burns. I knew that this pan could withstand high heats so I turned up the gas as high as possible to experiment. I watched my delicious cheese omelet cook into a gorgeous golden yellow half-moon shape. The omelet did not burn or char at all! I was truly impressed that this pan could go where no other pan had gone before and come out alive! The pan is like magic. The bottom of the pan was perfectly intact with no black marks at all. The omelet cooked evenly and completely and it was cooked very fast too.

The best part of this pan is that the food slides out with ease because of the shape of the pan. I didn't even spray Pam into the pan before cooking because I wanted to see how well the non-stick coating worked. I slid my omelet onto my plate practically effortlessly and there was barely any food residue left in the pan afterwards. I've had pans before where egg and cheese residue was left in the pan and it was a pain to get out. The pan is dishwasher safe which is a nice added bonus. I highly recommend Xtrema for any of your future cooking needs.
