Nestle Drumsticks Review and Giveaway

The warm weather is finally here! While it's not completely summer like weather outside just yet, it is warm enough here for ice cream. There's nothing like going for a nice walk in the park and then topping it off with delicious ice cream. I call that the perfect day!



Nestle's headquarters are in Vevey, Switzerland. The company was founded in 1866 by Henri Nestlé and is today the world's leading nutrition, health and wellness company. Nestle products have a large variety including ice cream, cookies, snacks, ready to eat meals, candy, juice, tea, hot cocoa, coffee, and more.

I'm sure everyone's familiar with the popular ice cream line of "Drumsticks." The drumstick flavor that I'm most familiar with is the classic one-a big scoop of vanilla dipped in a rich chocolatey coating and topped with roasted peanuts, all in a crispy, chocolatey-lined sugar cone with a chocolatey surprise.

There's been a new addition in the Drumstick family called "Sprinkled", and I was sent coupons to try it.

These cones are packed with either creamy vanilla or chocolate ice cream dipped in a rich chocolaty coating and topped with chocolate and vanilla sprinkles. It's all in a delicious crispy, chocolaty-lined sugar cone with a surprise.

It was an especially hot afternoon yesterday so I wanted something to cool me off. I didn't want the entire cone but just a few tastes of it. I tried the chocolate flavor. The cone is very visually appealing. First of all you have a fantastic crunchy looking cone and a luscious dipped chocolate top with brown and white sprinkles. When you bite into the top of the cone there is a slight crunch from the dipped coating which I loved. The coating is sweet and perfect and everything I could ask for in a dessert! The ice cream itself is smooth and rich and deliciously creamy, it has the perfect level of sweetness too. The chocolate just melts in your mouth. It's simply excellent. There is a chocolate surprise in the center of the cone too. This treat is a chocolate lover's dream! Of course I had to have a bite of the sugar cone too from the bottom. The cone has an awesome crunch and features a light layer of sweetness, which leaves you wanting more. This treat is perfect for a very hot summer day or night, it will cool you off practically instantly. I highly recommend it.
