I was sent coupons to try Batter Blaster for review purposes.


My local Whole Foods didn't have any of the new flavors out, even though I was hoping to get to try the double chocolate flavor. I settled on the original, because that was all they had. I made a very small pancake just for sampling purposes for this review.

I heated up my pan and got ready to blast off into a delicious pancake world. I shook up the can and directed the nozzle to spray into the pan. The nozzle was easy to direct and I had no problems with spraying either. The batter comes out in sort of "ribbons" that eventually settle down into a perfect pancake shape. The pancake cooks very quickly so be careful that you don't burn it. I did notice that the batter was thinner than normal pancake batter. The pancake was done very quickly and I sat down to try out the convenience in a can. The pancake was good but it did not taste like a home-made pancake, even though it has all of the same ingredients in the can. It was not bad by any means, but did just not taste like the pancakes we all know and love.

I like that you can also use this batter for waffles too, if you prefer those over pancakes. They work in a waffle maker too so it's quick and easy for you. I think Batter Blaster is a great product for people on the go who still desire "a real breakfast." A mom might want to make pancakes for her son in the morning, but there's really no time to do so before leaving for school and work. If you have 5 minutes you can definitely make these great pancakes though. Kids will also love being able to make pancakes just like their mom with Batter Blaster though. Have them spray the batter into the pan, I can bet you they will enjoy it.


Yes, you can even use the Batter Blaster to spell out words too. Make breakfast fun and exciting again.
