Nature's Path Review and Giveaway

Since I am on the fast track to weightloss, I can no longer review any food that I write about. I didn't want to let everyone down and completely stop reviewing food because I know how great of a response the food contests get. Any food from now on will be reviewed by my boyfriend or family.

Nature's Path is a privately owned and family operated organic food company in North America. Nature's Path is North America's largest organic cereal brand and also sells certified organic breads, cookies, and snack bars in 42 countries around the world.

I have seen Nature's Path in Whole Foods but have never tried the food before, even though it always looked great.

I was sent a fabulous box of Love Crunch cereal which is available at Whole Foods around the country.


The story behind Love Crunch:
Love Crunch was born out of love and a passion for both cereal and philanthropy; the first boxes of Love Crunch were created to give as wedding favors to those who helped celebrate the marriage of Nature’s Path Organic Foods founding family members, Arjan and Rimjhim Stephens.

In lieu of gifts they asked each of the wedding guests to do a volunteer community project to post to a web page “The Experience Giving Project.” To share their project with cereal lovers nationwide, they partnered with Whole Food Market’s non-profit Whole Planet Foundation to create an easy way to donate and make a difference in the lives of those most in need.

This cereal is the perfect combination of whole grain goodness with flax cocoa granola, rich dark chocolate chunks, the sweetness of strawberries, the tartness of raspberries and the decadence of coconut. Love Crunch is USDA certified organic which means it does not contain artificial preservatives, additives, genetically modified organism (GMOs) or synthetic pesticides.

My boyfriend absolutely loved this cereal. I wish I could try it because I know that I would fall in love with it too. He said the combination of the cocoa, the raspberries, the chocolate chunks and the coconut together was out of this world. He said that he's never had a cereal quite like this one before and he's quickly come to love it. The chocolate paired with the crunchy fresh granola was like a spoonful of heaven. The strawberries and raspberries gave the cereal a sweet, fruity ending. The fruit also balanced out the chocolate nicely. Who doesn't love chocolate paired with coconut too? It's the perfect combination. He will most definitely be buying a box of this cereal in the very near future.
