I was sent quite a range of Guylian chocolate products to review.

I received 2 boxes of 22 original belgian seashells, one in milk chocolate, and the other in extra dark. I was sent a bag of original praline candies, a small box of extra dark sea shells (just like the full sized box of original seashells) and 2 bars of dark and milk chocolate with no sugar added.

My boyfriend reviewed the original Belgian chocolates first and loved every bite of them! Each carefully crafted shell is a blend of delicious white, milk and dark Belgian chocolate. He described them and I helped to put his words to writing. He said the candy had a luscious shell of chocolate blanketed by a creamy center that melts in your mouth. He said the chocolate was smooth and rich and just beyond perfect, and the different types of chocolate paired together was amazing. Each blend of chocolate has its own balance but is recognizable among the others. I did not try the chocolates but I love the adorable seashell shape of them and they are gorgeous, truly a work of art.

Nobody in my house is a huge fan of no sugar added chocolate so I don't think we will be trying those.

The pralines were sampled next. They are a delicious blend of milk, dark and white Belgian chocolate with the original Guylian roasted hazelnut praline filling. The chocolate is molded into the famous seahorse shape. I absolutely love the seahorse shape and think it's so cute, just like the seashell. I was told that the roasted hazelnut was the best part. The creaminess of the roasted hazelnuts mixed with the pralines was outstanding. The combination of all three types of chocolate was a great twist too.
