I really love cheese and crackers, it's a sensational pairing and it's a classic appetizer that everyone loves. Crackers go with so much too, you can spread cheese on them, jam, jellies, cream cheese, and of course so many different types of dips. Be creative and put something delicious on a cracker today.
34° Crispbread is home to lighter, crispier, all-natural crackers that are simply good to eat. 34° Crispbread as the perfect companion to the world’s favorite cheeses. But the truth is, they are great straight from the box too." (taken from website.)
I was sent two boxes of crispbread for review. I received whole grain, and cracked pepper.
These crackers would be perfect for entertaining. Can you just imagine it now? A thin, delicate cracker spread with a delicious slice of cheddar cheese, or spread with a healthy layer of roasted red pepper hummus? Delicious! You can also use the cracker for pate, salami, or creating your own recipe! The crackers come in the flavors of: natural, wholegrain, lemon zest, rosemary, and cracked pepper.
I do not like cracked pepper, so I will not be trying those. My boyfriend said they had a great pepper flavor that would go well with onion dip, or even just by themselves. You can have 19 crackers for 120 calories, so that's a very decent portion.
I had a few of the whole grain crackers for an afternoon snack dipped in hummus. I was hesitant at first at how much the cracker could hold because it is so thin, but it held the hummus perfectly and did not break at all. The crunch of the cracker was great and it had a very mild whole grain taste which was enjoyable. I would love to eventually taste the other flavors too.
A few of these crackers would be a great on-the-go snack, or packed in a lunch for work or school.
