I've never had such beautiful hangers before! They really bring personality and a depth of fun to my closet and my clothes. The hangers are made extremely well and are made by hand too which is even more impressive. They seem very sturdy and able to hold virtually any article of clothing well. I'm a big lover of pearls, so the pearl hangers are my favorite. The pearls have a nice shine to them as well. The crystal hangers are equally as pretty and they sparkle in the light. I love the way the hangers look in my closet and I will be using them for some time to come.

I was sent a open chef's frying pan.



This pan is wonderful and I love that it's environmentally friendly and generally safe to cook my food with. If you like to cook your food on high temperatures, no problem! The coating of the pan will not peel or blister in any way. I cooked a small piece of grilled chicken in this pan and did not spray any non-stick cooking spray inside before cooking. I wanted to test out the special curved side walls that allow the food to easily slide out. The chicken easily slid out with no problems. Nothing was stuck on the bottom and the chicken did not break apart. I was impressed! I also love the large cooking surface this pan provides.

My chicken cooked evenly and perfectly and actually very quickly. The handle of the pan was easy to hold too while cooking. It did not get overly hot either and I was able to grip the handle perfectly. The pan is constructed very well and is of high quality. I love the green handle too, it gives the pan some personality.

Thanks to Green-Pan I've fallen in love with their products!

These lemons are beautiful! They have such a perfect golden color to them too. They smelled great as well. I cut one up tonight to add some flavor to some broccoli. I squeezed some juice over the vegetable, added the tiniest bit of salt and roasted them in the oven. It came out smelling wonderful and tasted even better. The lemon juice combined with the salt was perfect and the flavors were magical together! The broccoli was fresh and delicious too. I wish I could make a lemon dessert too, but that will have to wait until I'm off my diet. These lemons would make a perfect gift for your friend or neighbor who loves to bake!

*I have a great lemon treat recipe for you! Cuta ripe lemon in half and then each half into quarters. Put on a plate and freeze for 20-30 minutes then dip in honey or agave. You will love it!

This salt blend collection is fabulous! I love the different colors that differentiate each salt. Before receiving this to review, I had no idea that spices could conform into salt! I thought all salt was just...well plain table salt. Well I was so wrong! Each blend of salt is very unique and has its own distinct personality. I will not be using any of the chile blends because I don't enjoy spicy foods.

I added a tiny bit of vanilla salt to some roasted asparagus before roasting it, and it gave it a lot of flavor. You wouldn't think vanilla would go with asparagus, but it really gave it a nice flavor. I think sagemary and fennel thyme would go excellently if rubbed into chicken before cooking. I bet it would smell amazing too.

One thing that I really like is that each blend is very small. It gives you a small sample to try to see if you like it, rather than buying a large jar of it and finding out that you don't like it. Also something else that's really convenient is the fact that the entire canister is stacked on top of each other, so all of the blends stay together and you don't lose any.

I can't wait to further explore new recipe options with these artisinal salt blends. I bet I stumble onto something excellent and delicious :)

Should I buy the jumbo breaded shrimp, the popcorn fish, or the shrimp scampi? No, I should try the tilapia tenders! I was sent a bag of popcorn fish for review.

There are about 55 pieces in each bag and they are whole cut fillets lightly breaded with SeaPak’s signature seasoning. The bite sized treats are perfect to be stuffed into a taco, topped on a salad or dipped as an appetizer. They are equally great on their own too!

My boyfriend created a taco with these bite-sized pieces which fit perfectly inside. Taco de fish was stuffed with the popcorn fish, lettuce, tomato, a tiny bit of sour cream, and cheese. Sounds good, right? He said the popcorn fish had a great flavor from the seasoning and the crunch was fantastic. The fish was juicy and flavorful when you bit into the popcorn fish, but the outside was perfectly crunchy. Just perfect! It really went well with all of the other ingredients he put in the taco. He said he never had popcorn fish before, but only popcorn shrimp, so it was interesting to try a new version of an old favorite. The possibilities for these bite-sized nuggets of deliciousness are endless. Be creative and incorporate them into your favorite dish today.

Nutrisystem Week 4 Update

I lost one more lb this week on Nutrisystem, for a total loss of 6 lbs! I am in a new range of numbers now and that really excites me! I am noticing a slight change in the way my clothes fit and I feel a lot better about myself. I also notice a change in the way my face looks too, it definitely looks thinner.

I have been following the plan to a T, exercising, and drinking the required amount of water. I love that I can eat delicious foods that make me lose weight. It's really a treat. I even bought some new clothes last night, and for the first time in a long time I actually truly liked the way they looked on me.

My goal for next week is 1.5 or 2 lbs down. Hope to update you with good news next week!

My feet often get cold, it's the worst part about the cold months of the year. Either my feet or freezing cold, or they get hot instantly when I put on socks. I can't win! These slippers are so funny. They are very realistic and have the perfect attributes of a dalmatian dog! The slippers fit me well and are very soft and comfortable. The fur of the dog is very soft too. I love walking around my house with these when I'm just lounging around. I like that they have an open back and slip on and off easily whenever I don't want to wear them, instead of having to deal with taking socks on and off. The only thing I don't like is that the inside is white, because they will get dirty easily. These will be great to wear until there's more spring like weather in New York!

A guide to using the Yantra mat:

Carefully lie down on your Yantra Mat. Distribute your weight evenly over the contact points. For the first few minutes, you will likely experience discomfort; this will subside. Breathe deeply and remain still.

Certain conditions can make our skin more sensitive. The Yantra Mat should not feel painful. If it does hurt, place a thin sheet between your body and the mat. After a period of time, try using the Yantra Mat without a protective layer.

Days 1-4
We recommend about 10 minutes of use. You'll recognize the Yantra Mat’s effects right away, but they may develop once you start using the mat more frequently. Some people fall asleep on the mat. Others get an energy boost immediately after use.

Days 5-14
We recommend about 20 minutes of use, preferably at bedtime. If you fall asleep, that’s okay. Avoid watching the clock (set an alarm if you must). The most important thing is to relax. It doesn’t matter if your total time on the mat is more than 20 minutes. Remove the mat when you wake up and go back to sleep. I tried the mat for the first time last night. I laid on it and at first it was slightly paintful but tolerable. After 3-5 minutes, the pain subsided and a wave of relaxation and minimal pain washed over me. I laid on the mat for an additional 5 minutes and I felt very relaxed and drowsy. I think this would be a great routine to adopt nightly before bed to help aid sleep. I want to try to build up my resistance to be able to eventually lay on the mat for 30-40 minutes.

I love the packaging of the boxes, the graffiti-esque writing on the side is definitely eye-catching. The size of the products are great and will last me awhile.

I used the deep cleansing foam to wash off my makeup when I got home from work this evening. The instructions say to use a very small amount, because a little goes a long way. The foam did not lather up too much (which doesn't mean that it's not working!) but enough where I felt that my skin was getting cleaned. The foam rinsed away cleanly with no problems. Afterwards my skin felt smooth and refreshed and truly clean. I've used cleansers before where my face still felt like it had makeup on it after I washed it, and I felt like I had to wash it again. I didn't feel that way with this cleanser. It didn't have any special scent to it (although I wish it did), but had a "clean" smell to it.

I followed up by using the nourishing moisturizer after the cleanser. I frequently have dry/very dry skin and I find myself constantly searching for that product to keep my skin hydrated at all times. I applied a thin layer of moisturizer to my face and rubbed it in. It was not very greasy or thick which I was happy about. This product also had no strong scent. My skin instantly felt revived and rejuvenated. My skin had a nice healthy look to it afterwards.

I really love these products and I will definitely be adding them into my daily beauty routine!

If you want to get out to enjoy the sunshine, then you need to make sure that all your other ducks are in line. When you have all the necessities taken care of, you are much more likely to enjoy yourself when you are doing other things. Here are some tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your everyday life—getting things done and making memories.

• Get a day planner – The vast majority of people now organize everything on their phones or other portable devices, though some still have paper day planners as well. Either method is fine, just make sure it works for you. There are advantages to both modes of organization, since a paper planner won’t glitch on you or lose your data, but an electronic planner can send you reminders and make sure you have no scheduling conflicts.
• Keep a journal – A journal helps you remember special memories, but it also helps you keep track of important dates and milestones as well. If you have a hard time remembering fun date activities, you can keep a running list in the back. Or, a journal is useful if you want to store letters, cards, photos and other mementos tied to a specific date or memory.
• Take photographs–This is true especially if you have children because they grow and change so much over such a short period of time. Whether you take a picture a day to chronicle your life’s events, or you only take a camera to special events, make sure you always keep it charged for those moments that are both unexpected and completely amazing.
• Block out time – If you find you are always stressed or busy, block out at least a half hour of time each day that is solely for you. Use this time to do something you love, like reading, talking with friends or doing a hobby.
If we aren’t careful, life will take over and we won’t have anything to show for it. Take the time to get organized and make memories, you’ll appreciate it down the line.

I received a coupon to try any Dr. Praeger's foods I wanted. I let my boyfriend pick out what he wanted. He chose the potato pancakes.


Potato pancakes are shallow-fried pancakes of grated potato, flour and egg, often flavored with grated onion or garlic and seasoning. Potato pancakes may be topped with a variety of condiments, ranging from the savory (such as sour cream) to the sweet (such as apple sauce or sugar), or they may be served ungarnished. Potato pancakes are sometimes made from mashed potatoes to produce pancake-shaped croquettes.

He had them for dinner tonight. He said they had a nice crunch on the outside, but not too crunchy. The potato interior was fluffy and very soft. The potato flavor was prominent and very excellent. The size of each pancake is perfect for a quick lunch or snack. He paired it with mustard, but said it would be great paired with any condiment. He said these pancakes have a very similiar taste to the homemade potato pancakes he's had before. He liked that these weren't very greasy or oily though.

I was sent a handcrafted Sterling Silver "believe" engraved ring.


Engraved with the words "believe" is a spinning band of sterling silver creating a calming yet symbolic representation of infinity. The high polish finish has a unique chic that makes this pendant an excellent gift idea. Handcrafted in Israel this item is made from recycled precious metal that is lead and nickel free.

This ring is beautiful! The spinning design of the ring is very unique, and I've never seen any jewelry like that before. The smaller ring freely spins around a bigger fixed "ring base". The ring fits well and is comfortable to slip on and off. The silver shines nicely and is of high quality. The engraved words are on strong and are very readable, I think the ring is inspirational too. If you're having a bad day, just believe in yourself and you can get through whatever hardship you're dealing with. The ring and engravement are smaller in person than in the picture, and it's a delicate piece of jewelry.
The ring would be a great gift for anyone and they would certainly love it.
