Have you ever been to a party and not known whose glass was whom? I know I have, and it's really annoying. You pour a nice drink for yourself and then put it down for a second to talk to someone. When you turn your attention back, there's 4 drinks in the same glass as yours next to "your" drink. How can you remember which is yours? Well I have the answer for you.
With Chalk Talk Glass you don't need wine charms to keep glasses from getting mixed up - guests simply write their name on their glass with chalk. At the end of the party simply wipe off the chalk, wash the glasses (top rack in your dishwasher or by hand) and you're ready for the next party!
"Chalk Talk Glass started with my sister Sharon and a simple DIY project for an upcoming cocktail party. The initial wineglasses were an instant hit - everyone loved them and wanted to have some for their next party" says Trish Babb, co-owner.
Sure enough small orders from friends and family soon followed and a garage-based business was born. 1 year and hundreds of orders later, the two sisters decided to launch a “real” business and sell their glasses online.
Chalk Talk Glass now features several designs to accent the chalkboard area on each glass; including Grapes, seasonal designs (Holly Berries, Hearts, Shamrocks), and of course custom designs upon request. While their biggest seller is Simple Sally the design they are most proud of is the "Paws off" charity glasses which features dog paw prints. A portion of sales from this design are donated to a local dog rescue program. (Taken from website.)
I was sent two pint glasses for my boyfriend and two sticks of chalk.
(A stock photo that shows how clear the chalk shows up on the glass)
I think this is such a fun, unique idea. It's easy to mix up glasses and with Chalk Talk Glass, you'll never have that problem again. Write your name on the glass, a funny message, or anything else you desire! The glass has a black strip on it in blackboard like material. The only downside is that these glasses are not dishwasher safe. You must handwash them so you do not ruin them. The chalk writes smoothly and is easy to read, and shows up well. These glasses would be perfect for parties, or any other kind of get togethers.

I would like to win because I love the idea of having a way to identify each person's glass. I don't care to drink after others and I sure don't want them "accidentally" sipping mine either.
