Purex Review and Giveaway

Most people dread doing laundry, but I'm a different story. I actually really enjoy doing laundry and folding it provides me with a strange sense of calm. I guess I'm weird, haha!

The Purex brand was founded in Los Angeles, California in 1922 and, for 88 years, has been known as the laundry brand that consumers trust to provide the most value for the money. Over the years, the company has grown from a single product—liquid chlorine bleach sold in amber pint jars—to the almost two dozen laundry products sold under the Purex brand name today. Moreover, along the way, Purex has been a leader in sustainability and developing eco-friendly products.

Purex has a new laundry product on the market, a very unique fabric softner called Purex Complete Crystals. Purex Complete Crystals™ Softener are 92% natural crystals that go in at the start of the wash so they spend more time with your laundry infusing them with long-lasting freshness. This product comes in the scents of Fresh Spring Waters, Lavender Blossom, and Tropical Splash. Unlike other laundry fabric softeners, it isn't oil-based and doesn't coat laundry in a layer of scented, grimy oil.



I received a sample size of Fresh Spring Waters for review purposes. I've never seen fabric softener in crystal format, so that was pretty different but cool. The crystals smelled very good, but the scent was a little bit strong. It was nothing too overwhelming though. I really love scented products, especially those that make my clothes smell good so I knew I would love this.

I washed my clothes and sheets with the crystals. When I pulled them out, they smelled fantastic and were so soft. I've never used a fabric softner before where the scent of the product stays on so powerfully before, usually it's just a tiny hint of the scent. This was fabulous though! It was really nice going to sleep with such amazing smelling sheets that night. I really like this product and I will be making it my go to fabric softener product from now on!
