Perdue Review and Giveaway

I'm a big lover of chicken. Boneless, skinless, grilled chicken is my favorite. I really like that chicken is such a versatile food. You can have it in a salad, mashed up for a chicken salad sandwich, fried (not my personal favorite though), baked or roasted too. You can serve so many different side dishes with it too. It's a delicious food that I make every week.



The Perdue is the number-one brand of premium chicken in the Eastern U.S. and is synonymous with quality products around the globe. We provide food and agricultural products and services to customers in more than 100 countries.

I was sent free product coupons to try any variety of Perdue frozen fully cooked chicken. There were so many choices as I perused the frozen section in the grocery store. Did I want nuggets, tenders, strips, patties, popcorn chicken, glazed chunks, wings, or grilled strips? Of course with each choice I listed there were various different choices within that category too. I finally settled on the whole grain chicken breast strips.


I chose these strips because they had 100% all natural ingredients, had an excellent source of protein, 4g of fiber, made with whole grains, and made with only white meat chicken. It also had no preservatives or fillers. I served this with a salad and some vegetables and it was a very healthy and tasty dinner. The chicken was juicy and tender and tasted very fresh. It didn't have a frozen-then-cooked taste to it like some frozen foods have. The breading around the chicken was a very light coating but it gave it a nice crunch. I enjoy eating quality, healthy meals, and Perdue has made me a satisfied consumer.
