Epson Artisan 725 Review

I've been needing a new printer for a long time now. My printer is circa 2003 and I wanted to upgrade to something modern. This printer was very tempremental and if you didn't take the paper as soon as it was done printing, the printer would start to eat the paper. As you can imagine, it was very annoying.

Epson contacted me and asked if I was interested in reviewing the Artisan 725, of course I jumped at the chance.

I received the printer and it's absolutely gorgeous. The dark black color is stunning and very sleek. I love the many uses this device has as it scans and copies too. It's really like a small office!

The installation of the printer was very easy and the manuel was simple to follow although the features were very different from a standard, everyday printer. The coolest, most unique thing was the digital touch screen display. It gives you all the options needed to print,without ever hooking a computer to it. Isn't that amazing? All you do is insert your memory card and the printer will retreive your photos and allow to to go through and select which you would like to print. If you don't have a memory card handy, don't worry. You can print from an iPhone, MP3 Player, or digital camera too! This printer is so technologically advanced, it's amazing. I've never seen a printer like this one before.

I usually print my digital photos from CVS, but now I will not have to do so anymore. The printing quality of this printer is absolutely stunning and it looks like I had the photos professionally printed. I can guarantee that people will not believe you printed your photo on a home printer. If you have kids, you can turn any photo into a coloring book page by just a push of a button on the printer. You can print images and designs right onto the top of inkjet printable CDs. And if you run out of ink in one of the colors while you’re printing all of these wonderful things, you only have to replace that particular color. The printer has 6 different ink cartridges so you never have to worry about wasting ink again, only replace the color you need! This saves you time and money.

This printer prints lightening fast. In less than 10 seconds you can print a high quality 4x6 photo. The printer is very quiet too, it makes noise when starting up, but while printing is barely audible. I've had some very noisy printers in my day so this was a delight. The greatest thing is that this printer is wireless. You can hook this printer up to different computers and print from virtually anywhere in your house. Gone are the days where you have to sit down and connect the computer to the printer and wait for your document to print. You can lay in bed and print a document while your printer is in the living room.

This printer is absolutely the best printer I've ever owned. The quality of this machine is impeccable and it has so many wonderful features. I am now a believer of Epson and will turn to them for any future printing needs I may have.
