240 Sweet Review and Giveaway

Marshmallows are something that I don't normally consider to be a dessert item like I do a piece of cake or a brownie. Usually you think of marshmallows in ice cream or in a s'mores. 240 Sweets takes marshmallows to the next level!

240 Sweets crafts their treats in small batches with local, all-natural and organic ingredients. First, they look for local foods to flavor the marshmallows. If they can’t find items locally, they make sure to use organic. They don’t use any preservatives, stabilizers, artificial colors or artificial flavors. 240Sweet treats include Michigan beet sugar, Ohio glucose and Indiana corn starch. They use organic Tahitian beans to make our own vanilla extract.

Their customers often comment on the minimal packaging of their treats. Since there isn’t an outer box, no resources are wasted. The ribbon across the top of the bag is made in the United States and is the greenest option available to reclose the packaging. The labels are printed just a few miles from their kitchen. 240 Sweets have so many unique and delicious flavors for their amazing marshmallows. Whether you desire pralines, chocolate chocolate chip, nutella, triple berry, chocolate vanilla twist, or blueberry swirl, they have you covered and with so many more flavors too! I'm sure if you were to try these yummy marshmallows, you would have your favorite flavor picked in no time!

I was sent 3 packs of marshmallows to try; pralines, chocolate chip coconut, and elephant ear.

I tried the chocolate chip one first as you all know chocolate is my favorite. Firstly, these marshmallows are huge. They are not like normal sized marshmallows. These are marshmallows on steroids! Take a look:

The marshmallows didn't taste how I had pictured them to taste. They were extremely firm and not mushy and gooey at all like a regular marshmallow which threw me off at at first. They had a lot of structure to them. They weren't overly sweet but had a hint of sweetness. The top of the marshmallow had a few pieces of coconut and some chocolate chips on it which I really enjoyed. I wish that there was more on top of both. Once you bit into the treat, the inside was very airy. It would have been a nice surprise if there was coconut and chocolate inside too. I have not tried the other two flavors yet. I do like that this company is green focused though, that is important to me.

I think these marshmallows are very unique and fun, and would be a wonderful party favor for a wedding or a babyshower, or served at a work event.
