Dassant Baking Company Review and Giveaway

It is no secret that I like to bake. I am constantly whipping up some sweet treat in my kitchen. It's also evident from my reviews and giveaways. Baking is therapeutic for me. Who doesn't like something sweet once in a while?

Dassant is a company that offers pre-packaged cake and bread mix in many different varieties. Whether you want gingerbread spice, pumpkin bread, classic beer bread, chocolate chip, they have it and more. There is a flavor for everyone's liking.

These mixes are delicious, and quick and easy to make. I selected ginger gingerbread cake mix, chocolate chip cake, pumpkin spice bread, and truffle brownie cake mix. YUM!


I made the chocolate chip cake today. If you make the cake from the box, it takes about 40-45 min. Since I made a very small version of the cake in a ramekin, it was done in about half the time. Here's a picture of the cake I made, although I used it in my last review.


The chocolate cake is AWESOME! I had a bite of it when it came straight out of the oven (which was about 2.5 seconds after this picture was taken and it was heavenly!) It was moist and bursting with chocolate flavor. I couldn't get enough of it! I like that this mix had real chocolate chips in it, most mixes that I've encountered don't. I'm so glad I didn't make the full-sized cake because I would be devouring it right about now! This cake would be great to make for a party, a social gathering, or just because! I can't wait to make the other cakes and breads in the future, I know they will be equally delicious too!
