Carmex Review and Giveaway

I've been using Carmex for years, and it's one of the few brands that really hydrates and soothes my dry chapped lips well. This is one of the many reasons why I hate winter. Carmex works quickly and provides great results which makes me a happy consumer.

Carmex, is a company which offers different scented and flavored chapsticks dedicated to soothe and protect your lips. They now have even produced a line of skincare, Carmex healing lotion. Whether you prefer original carmex, strawberry, cherry, or mint in a tube or jar, they've got you covered.

Since I am apart of the Carmex blog squad, I was sent two new products to review. I received Carmex Moisture Plus sheer peach tint, and moisture plus sheer pink tint. Both of these colors are great for me because they are not too dark.



Bathe your lips in moisture

Glam it up
Take it out for a night on the town. A sheer pink, sheer peach or clear satin gloss finish add a hint of shine, while the sleek, slant-tip applicator looks almost as stylish as you.

These new moisture tints are really great. The pink is my favorite. When I took the cap off I was a little surprised at how dark the pink was, but once you apply it it's not dark at all. It's a very pretty subtle tint and provides you with just a touch of color and shine. I like that it has SPF in it to also protect your lips from the harsh rays of the sun. The tint does not go on thick at all, it's very thin and smooth and you can barely notice you're wearing it. It's nice that your lips are kept hydrated while wearing color too!

The peach was a little too pale for me. I didn't notice it on me as much as I did the pink. It is nice to use just as a regular lip hydrant though. I know I will use these throughout the wintertime.

I would say that these tints stay on for at least 3 hours before you have to reapply it. I would love to see Carmex come out with different colors for this product line. Maybe a light reddish color, or a darker pink? I know people would enjoy it. These products are also only sold at Walgreens, and it would be convenient if in the future they were sold in more drugstores.
