Swanson Vitamins Review and Giveaway

Nuts are part of an important diet. Swanson Vitamins focuses on helping you to achieve the best health possible by means of vitamins and other health products.

Swanson Vitamins is a company which sells any vitamin that you can think of. Fish Oil? Check. Calcium supplements? You bet. Any vitamin you may need is available and then some. They offer lower prices too, so you can save money on your daily needs.

Instead of vitamins, I opted to receive two bags of organic roasted unsalted pistachios and one bag of organic whole raw cashews. Eating organic is important to me and I know that it is a smart food choice to make.

Organic Roasted Unsalted Pistachios


Like most nuts, pistachios contain fats. However, they contain no trans-fats making them a tasty snack at home, work or on the go. Although I do like nuts, they should be eaten in moderation. Moderation is key in any diet. These pistachios were extremely fresh and delicious. They had a great crunch to them and I really liked the roasted flavor of them. Pistachios would be great to chop up and make in cookies, brownies, cakes, or even on top of a salad. The food possibilities are endless. Of course they are great eaten just out of the bag too.

Organic Whole Raw Cashews


Swanson Raw Whole Cashews are an organic way to enjoy cashews without the use of added salt, sugar, artificial flavorings or sweeteners. They are a nutritious treat on their own or additive for your next healthy meal. Whole cashews give chicken or egg salads a crunch texture. These cashews were delicious. They were unsalted which I prefer and had a very satifying crunch. Even though they were unsalted don't be fooled into thinking they had no flavor, because they did. I've always been a big fan of shrimp and cashew nuts, which is served in most Chinese restaurants. I think it would be a fun to re-create this recipe using my own home ingredients. There are many uses for cashews. Be creative and create your own!
