Renfro Foods Review and Giveaway

I think it's important that when you're eating chips you have something to dip them into. Yes, chips are good on their own but it's always nice to spice them up. Salsa is delicious and provides a great flavor for many chips and it's such a versatile product. Whether you like mild, medium, or spicy salsa it's easy to find a favorite.

Renfro Foods sent me 4 mouth watering jars of salsa to review. I received Peach, Roasted, Black Bean, and Pineapple. This company offers so many unique salsas, bbq sauces, nacho cheese sauces, and more. These products will surely guarantee a taste of the Southwest in your mouth.

Roasted:

Description taken from website: This smoky salsa has a great mesquite “barbeque” flavor – use it in your next chili or meatloaf.

I really loved this salsa. It's sometimes hard for me to eat salsa because it's usually spicy, but this one wasn't at all. It has a very smoky, rustic, flavor that is great paired with a tortilla chip. You can dip pretzels, pita bread, or even crackers into this salsa. Beware it's addicting!

Black Bean:

This salsa was not one of my favorites. I am not a big fan of black beans so I won't be eating it.

Peach:

This salsa was very interesting and unique. I've never tasted a fruity salsa before and it was very different. It has a hint of sweetness to it but also featured a spiciness to it from the jalapeno peppers, onions, tomatoes, salt, etc. It certainly took me by surprise. I really enjoyed this salsa on a bruschetta cracker.

Pineapple:

Unlike the peach salsa, this was much sweeter. Since it features chunks of pineapple, crushed pineapple+juice, it's guaranteed to pack a sweeter punch. The salsa was tangy and had a kick to it. It still had that salsa flavor too, don't let the sweetness fool you. I really enjoyed this salsa. I think it would be great for serving with a hearty chip that will hold a lot of this salsa.

These salsas would be great for entertaining and especially delicious for serving at parties. They make great gifts too!
