Burt's Bees Review

Burt's Bees has been my favorite skincare brand hands down for many years now. I trust their quality products and I know that I'm using a 100% natural ingredient product. I don't want to use products that are full of unnatural additives and ingredients on myself. Their lotions and shampoo's smell wonderful, and their lip balms are the only balm I put on my lips.

When I had the opportunity to review some products from BB, I immediately said yes and was so excited!
I was sent two lip balms, (Mango Butter and Acai Berry), Naturally Ageless Line Diminishing Day Lotion, and a Lemon Poppyseed Facial Cleanser.



When I first saw the lipbalms, I was excited because I didn't realize these two new scents were out. I have been using the normal original and pomegranate lip balms for years, so to have the opportunity to try some new flavors is nice.

About the lip balms:
They are both soothing, hydrating, and reviving for your lips. I use these in the winter and they help soothe my chapped lips almost instantly! The lipbalms go on smooth, they don't leave an artifical, heavy feeling on your lips either. They both smell really good too. The dark acai berry is great for giving your lips some color too when you don't want to wear lipstick or lipgloss. On the tube of the acai balm it says "Acai berries contain high amounts of essential fatty acids, Omega 6 and Omega 9." So just by putting this on your lips you are doing something healthy for yourself!

Acai Lip Balm:
Leave lips feeling renewed, moisturized and healthy with this 100% natural lip balm. Superfruit, açaí berry, provides free radical fighting antioxidants and vitamins A, C, D and E, as well as healthy Omega oils, giving your lips a rejuvenating experience with a rich, sweet flavor. Mango Butter Lip Balm:
Hydrate and soften lips naturally with this nourishing 100% natural lip balm. Specially formulated with mango butter, this replenishing balm soothes, moisturizes and protects to reveal smooth, healthy lips. I really like that the facial cleanser is in a glass jar, it has that old vintagey feel to it.
Cleanse and exfoliate in one step! Lemon oil and yucca extract naturally remove makeup and inpurities while poppy seeds gently exfoliate delicate facial skin. It’s rich in moisturizing botanical oils and vitamins that leave your skin refreshed and revived. (taken from website)

This cleanser smells delicious! It smells good enough to eat, but I don't think that would be such a good idea. I used it already once today and it made my skin feel really clean and moisturized. It goes on heavy, but washes away very easily.

Obviously I am still young enough where I don't need a product that helps diminish lines and wrinkles on one's face, but I am sure it works well.

I'm supplied with Burt's Bees products for a while now, which makes me really happy.
